Insta Micro Crete
Ready Mix Micro Concrete
INSTA MICRO CRETE is a specialized material in grey colour designed for reinforced cement concrete elements, particularly in areas where access is restricted, and where vibration of the placed material is not possible.
It is a free-flowing, self-compacted concrete that is polymer-enriched and cement-based, making it a high-performance, highstrength, non-shrink, and high-quality concrete.
The composition of Insta Micro Crete includes specialized fillers, cement, polymers, dry graded minerals or aggregates, and specialized additives in appropriate ratios to achieve its superior strength. It is a single component material, making it easy to use and apply.
Its easy usage, high strength, and non-shrink properties make it a popular choice for achieving high strength in concrete.
Advantages
- Placement without any vibration.
- Dual shrinkage compensated to reduce risk of cracking.
- Excellent Adhesive and High Compressive Strength.
- Early Strength Gain.
- Extremely low permeability to provide maximum protection to the embedded steel.
- A properly designed concrete which can be pumped or poured into restricted areas.
- Pre-packed to overcome site batch variations.
- Saving of Time and Labour Cost
- Easy in mixing, only water to be added.

Area of Applications
- Jacketing of Column, Beam and Slabs
- Grouting of Large Gaps.
- Structural Repairs for RCC elements.
- Can be applied upto 100mm deep
Form Work
- Slurry tight form work that will not deform or leak when subjected to hydraulic pressure imposed by the micro concrete will be fabricated and erected where the material is gravity fed.
- Provision in the formwork will be made for a suitable feed-hopper at the highest point. Where necessary, provision will be made for air vents to prevent air entrapment.
Curing
“As Insta MICRO CRETE is a cement-based material, it must be cured immediately after stripping the formwork in accordance with good concrete practice. The use of any curing compounds, sprayed on the surface in a continuous film, is recommended soon after stripping the form work. In harsh drying conditions, supplementary curing such as wet hessian and/or polythene sheeting must be used.”
Mixing and Application
- Clean the surface and remove loose concrete, dust, oil, paint, grease, waterproof coating, etc.
- Expose corroded steel in the repair area and remove all scale and corrosion deposits.
- Apply Rust Remover on exposed Reinforcement for rust free Bars.
- If required Additional Reinforcement shall be placed as per design approved by consultant before placing of Insta Micro Crete.
- Anti Corrosion Agents to be applied on old and new reinforcements.
- Saturate the substrate with water to prevent absorption of water from the mixed material. In case of a very old concrete substrate, it should be primed by applying one coat of Poly BOND + WATER (1:1) as Bonding Agent.
- Allow the bonding agent to reach tacky condition before applying of Instant Micro Crete
- Mix Insta Micro Crete with Mechanical Mixer on high speed and add approx.4 to 4.75 ltrs of water per 25kg bag, add powder in water and never add water to powder.
- First mix for 5 minutes by electrical mixer to mix homogeneously. Allow mortar to stand for another 5 minutes so that additives may react with water. The mixed material should be placed immediately.
- Insta Micro crete should be cured immediately after striping the formwork in accordance with good concrete practise alternatively use curing compound .
Do's & Don'ts
- 1. Use all the contents of Bags in one go, remaining material will get hard if in contact with air.
- 2. Appropriate quantity of Mortar shall be made which should be consumed within 15 to 20 minutes.
- 3. Always add Powder to Water and never add water in powder.
- 4. Do not add additional water for better workability.
- 5. Do not use Vibrators as Instant Micro Crete is a Self compacting free flow material
- 6. Remaining material from previous mix must not be added in the new mix because of difference in plastic strength of two mix.
- 7. Do not use pure form of Insta Micro Crete when thickness is more than 100 mm.
