Insta Floor Top
Non Metallic Floor Hardner
INSTA FLOOR TOP is a specialized surface hardening compound that provides a highly abrasion resistant surface to concrete floors. It is a non-metallic floor hardener that is applied to fresh concrete floors to create a monolithic, dense, and non-porous surface.
Insta Floor Top includes graded minerals, hard aggregate of mineral origins, cement, and specialized chemicals in appropriate ratios to achieve its superior strength.
It will never rust or disintegrate, its non-porous surface makes it easy to clean and maintain, and its non-slip properties makes it a safe option for both industrial and commercial applications. Its easy usage, durability, and non-slip properties makes it a popular choice for better quality in infra projects.

Application Method
- The Base Concrete should to minimum 15cm thick with adequate cement content.
- There should be no bleed water, but a wet sheen seen on the concrete surface, is the ideal condition for Insta Floor Top to have its first application.
- Sufficient Material should be laid out to meet the required coverage as per intended Traffic Use.
- The concrete surface is ready for coating when a thumb pressed hard onto the surface leaves a print of about 3-5mm depth. This is the most important aspect for the performance of Insta Floor Top and if applied too early than it will wash away with the cementatious content making them ineffective and denser material will sink into the concrete. If done to late than there will not be sufficient water / moisture to absorb the material into the concrete. If the same is applied forcibly then it will cause cracks on the surface at later stage.
- Insta Floor Top to be evenly spread / floated onto the concrete surface. Wooden floats / power trowel with disc must be used.
- Wait until material has been evenly moistened by the water in the concrete.
- Final finishing of the floor using a power trowel can be carried out when the floor has stiffened sufficiently so that damage will not be caused.
- The Abrasion resistance of Insta Floor Top has been tested as per ASTM C779, (Revolving Disc Method).
Curing
Surface treated with Insta Floor Top should be properly cured to ensure the physical properties of the floor. It is recommended that minimum 7 – 10 days curing should be done to achieve the desired parameters.
Do's & Don'ts
- 1. A mock-up is suggested before laying the same in larger area so as to finalise Hardtop application timing as it is extremely dependent on temperature and humidity present at site.
- 2. Construction Joints, Expansion Joints and floor joints should be saw-cut only after 24 hours.
- 3. The application of the dry shake powder must not be carried out in strong winds.
- 4. Use all the contents of Bags in one go, remaining material will get hard if in contact with air
