INSTA TILE / STONE BOND is a multi purpose, premix, thin bed, self curing solution that can be used for fixing and jointing tiles, marbles, stones and other materials. The material composition results in higher strength and durability, giving desired adhesives which also prevents shrinkage cracks and slippage of material, it conforms to IS 15477. Insta Tile Bond require only addition of Water which makes it hassel free with Higher Adhesion properties. Insta Tile Bond is made after strict quality checks and made from PLC controlled machine and as per IS Code 15477.

Surface Preparation
All surface must be clean, dry and free from any contaminates such as wax, grease, curing agents or other sbstances that may affect adhesion performance.

Mixing :-

  • Use only clean construction fit water to mix Tile Adhesive / Stone Bond, Pour approx. 21-23% (depend upon product and atmospheric conditions) of water in a clean vessel / container and gradually add 20 kg of adhesive whilst mixing. Use a mechanical mixer at medium to high speed, mix powder and liquid adhesive together until smooth paste consistency is achieved. Allow it to set for few minutes, re - mix before applying. Adhesive should not slump when combed out using the appropriate size notched trowel.

Mixing and Application
Tile Installation must be undertaken in accordance with Indian standard requirements. Ensure back of the tile to be adhered are free from dust or any material which may affect the adhesion.

Spread adhesive over prepared surface / substrate using an appropriate notched trowel.

02.

When installing floor or wall tiles, lay one tile over adhesive then lift the tile again. Finished bed thickness should be minium 3-4mm for wall tiles and 3-8mm for floor tiles.

03.

Ensure all tiles are fully supported by adhesive and that no voids are present.

04.

Inspect the underside of tile for complete bedding adhesion.

05.

Clean away excess adhesive from the joints and face of tiles whilst the adhesive is still wet.

06.

Ensure minimum grout joint of 1.5 -3mm spacing between the tiles. Larger joints are required for quarry / stone tiles. Refer to tile manufacturer specifications.

07.

Allow to dry undisturbed for 24 hours before foot traffic and grouting.

Substrate
Compatible with most solid substrates such as concrete, masonary, plaster, fiberous cement sheet, renders and screed. All substrates should be pre tested ensure stability.

Curing

  • Adhesives begins to set after an hour and is trafficable approximately 4-6 hours (longer if temp do not exceed 100 C) after installation depending on air and substrate temperatures. Grouting generally is best after 24 hours of tile installation. Optimum performance level is reached after 28 days.

Storage

  • Keep in dry place free from moisture and water. Do not leave the bag / Bags open.

Do's & Don'ts

  • 1. Use all the contents of Bags in one go, remaining material will get hard if in contact with air.
  • 2. Always add Powder to Water and never add water in powder.
  • 3. Appropriate quantity of Mortar shall be made which should be consumed within 60 to 90 minutes.
  • 4. Do not add additional water .
  • 5. Strictly not recommended for fixing on Gypsum Plaster, Metal and Wood.
  • 6. Remaining material from previous mix must not be added in the new mix because of difference in plastic strength of two mix.

  • In case of contact with eyes, wash with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice.
  • After finishing of work, wash hands using soap.
